Description: This healing, nourishing, and protective balm begins with slowly melting frankincense resin into the oils. This balm is gentle to be used as a daily moisturizer, or as a spot treatment for healing closed wounds, nourishing aged and weathered skin, soothing burns, etc. Always patch test before use.

Frankincense comes from the sap of the Boswellia tree, and has been used as a medicine and incense since the beginning of written history.

Currently, It is being researched for its effectiveness in a variety of medicinal uses.

In this formula, the focus is on the anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties of the Frankincense, to soothe and repair skin, carried by the chosen blend of oils.

Our skin recognises Tallow as being very similar to our own fat and drinks it up readily, making it an ideal vehicle for nutrients. Castor Oil is antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory, and rich in fatty acids.

The Beeswax gives the salve its thicker consistency and offers its own spectrum of healing qualities, purification, and light sun protection.
